Los restos del joven fueron encontrados en agosto de 2020 en la zona del canal Cola de Ballena, a unos 20 kilómetros de Bahía Blanca, en el sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires, en Argentina.

El último registro oficial de que estuviera con vida es del 30 de abril, cuando la Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires le labró un acta por violar la cuarentena.
