Vaccines in numbers: More than 36 million receive first dose
More than 36 million people have now been given a first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.The numbers come as the Government and local leaders consider rolling out more vaccinations in the regions worst hit by the Indian variant of coronavirus.
A total of 39,379,411 people have received their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine, the UK's official Covid-19 dashboard says. There have also been 25,537,133 second doses given.
