Wally the Walrus wreaks havoc on Isles of Scilly

A walrus, affectionately dubbed Wally, has become something of a celebrity over the past few months as he has been travelling along the coasts of France, Cornwall and Wales.

However, his popularity is starting to wane after he sunk and damaged a number of vessels on the Isles of Scilly.

The reason why Wally is two and a half thousand miles from his natural arctic habitat is unclear.

After a couple of weeks staying on St Mary's, many locals would like him to go home.
