Sikh community protest killing of school Principal Supinder Kour | Oneindia News
Members of the Sikh community in Kashmir protested the killing of school Principal Supinder Kour by terrorists in the valley yesterday.
The family members and relatives of the slain Kour along with scores of others from the community walked on foot from the Kours' residence in Aloochibagh to Civil Secretariat Srinagar carrying Supinder's body in protest to demand justice for her.
Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, a three-time member of the Provincial Assembly in Pakistan, has made headlines by becoming the first member of the Sikh community to take oath as a minister in the Punjab province. This significant event unfolded on Wednesday, as the newly elected Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, announced its cabinet.
