The participants of a "dharma sansad" or religious assembly in Uttarakhand's Haridwar where they made open calls for genocide and use of weapons against Muslims are seen in a video laughing with a police officer.
Dasna temple priest, Yati Narsinghanand, in yet another controversial statement asked the Hindus to give birth to more kids and increase the Hindu population in the country. The priest is out on bail in the Haridwar hate speech case. His organization, Akhil Bhartiya Sant Parishad, on Sunday warned the Hindus against India becoming an Islamic nation.

In yet another incident in a government school in Uttarakhand, around 37 students belonging to upper-caste refused to have food prepared by Dalit cook. This is not the first time something like this has happened. While many such cases happen on a daily basis in parts of the country, this is the second time such incident took place in the same Uttarakhand school after an identical incident sparked nationwide condemnation and a government probe.

In a tragic incident that took place in Bengaluru on Saturday evening, a Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike mowed down a 25-year-old youth, reportedly a Swiggy delivery boy, on Nagawara-Thanisandra main road.
