App based cab hailing service provider, Uber, announced that it has raised its fares by 15% in Mumbai owing to the continuous surge in petrol and diesel prices.

In Mumbai the diesel and petrol prices have gone up by Rs 6.40 between March 22nd to March 31st.

The fares have thus been increased to offset the impact of rising fuel prices.
