Tony Nominees Sound Off on Broadway's Return

Broadway is back, and that means so are the Tony Awards.

Some of this year's big nominees have expressed excitement and gratitude for the revival of live theater in New York City.

The nominees include Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, who are up for Lead Actor and Actress in a Musical for the revival of The Music Man , which received six Tony noms this year.

Next up, Jesse Williams' Broadway debut in Take Me Out earned him a nomination for Featured Actor in a Play.

Two-time Tony winner Mary-Louise Parker, who won Leading Actress in a Play last year for The Sound Inside , is set to make Tony history if she wins the category again this year for her performance in How I Learned to Drive .

Uzo Aduba scored her first nom for Featured Actress in a Play for Clyde's, and Matt Doyle scored his for Featured Actor in a Musical for the revival of Company .
