Transport Secretary Grant Shapps says the newly-emerged Partygate photos "upset" him, which show Boris Johnson at a social gathering during a Covid lockdown in November 2020.

But Shapps says he trusts the Metropolitan Police in its decision not to fine the prime minister for attending the event, despite allegations he organised it.
