Hipgnosis Song Management announced on May 26 the purchase of copyrights on nearly 200 songs.

According to 'The Wall Street Journal,' a dollar figure has yet to be disclosed but the deal is said to be worth upwards of $100 million.

Timberlake's sell-off reflects a trend of music stars who've chosen to do the same.
