PM appeals to EU for 'flexibility' over NI Protocol
Prime Minister Boris Johnson says he remains "optimistic" that the government can solve the problems around the Northern Ireland Protocol, appealing for the EU negotiators to show "flexibility".
MPs are set to vote on controversial new legislation to give ministers powers to override parts of the post-Brexit deal in the province.
