Labour: Government's wrecking ball approach to NI Protocol
Shadow Northern Ireland Secretary Peter Kyle says the government is "acting like a wrecking ball" to its own Brexit trade deal, adding the only way forward is to resume negotiations with the European Union.
MPs are set to vote on controversial new legislation to give ministers powers to override parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol unilaterally.

The leader of Merton Council Ross Garrod says more than 200 residents have been told to leave their homes as a precautionary measure due to a gas leak, as investigations continue into the cause of an explosion and a subsequent house collapse in south London. Residents have described the strong stench of gas in their homes and hearing a loud explosion just moments before a house collapsed in Thornton Heath, south London on Monday morning. A girl, believed to be four-years-old, died and three others were injured in the incident, which destroyed one home and damaged several others.
