Amarnath cloudburst: Indian army pulls up critical rescue equipments | Oneindia news *News

In a tragic and horrendous incident on Friday afternoon, at least 17 people lost their lives and many still remain missing post a cloudburst near the Amarnath shrine and the subsequent flash floods.

Gushing water washed down the base camps at Baltal and wrecked havoc on ground.

Indian army, ITBP, NDRF, SDRF are on duty since the floods broke out and rescue operations are underway in full swing.

Nearly 15,000 people have been rescued till now and the search for the missing is being carried out.
