A tree mural in north London that appeared on a residential building overnight is the work of Banksy, the anonymous street artist has confirmed.
The artist claimed the mural as his own in an Instagram post on Monday, following a morning of speculation after it appeared on a building on Hornsey Road in Finsbury Park overnight.
Residents said they were “proud and delighted” at the thought of the anonymous artist choosing their street for his latest mural.

Rishi Sunak has visited an apprentice training centre in Warwickshire after pledging to introduce 20,000 more apprenticeships. In a speech delivered at an SME event earlier today, Mr Sunak revealed the government would pay the full cost of apprenticeships for people aged 21 or under at small firms from the 1st of April. During the visit, he met with young apprentices to discuss their experiences with the training scheme.

Rishi Sunak has expressed his hopes of getting the Rwanda bill through parliament and flights up and running by Spring. It comes as MPs are set to vote on the House of Lords amendments to the bill today. In November, the Supreme Court ruled the African nation isn't a safe place to send asylum seekers. "We aim to get a flight off in the Spring. It's important that we get the Rwanda scheme up and running because we need a deterrent," Mr Sunak said.
