Eurovision legend Lulu has thrown her support behind Glasgow in its bid to host the song contest in 2023, as seven UK cities make their case to hold the event on behalf of last year's winner Ukraine.

The 1969 winner said: "I know the Glaswegians will be so thrilled to honour and to stand for the Ukraine … and you know what else?
