Frankie the Dino roars for decarbonization in Times Square amid UN General Assembly

Frankie The Dino roars in New York's Times Square to urge world economies to shift away from fossil fuel subsidies, as part of a campaign launched by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

"We just want to make as much of a noise as possible this week, while we have a chance, while the focus of the world is on the UN and really try and move the needle on this, on the issue of decarbonization of our economy," says Boaz Paldi, UNDP chief creative officer.

The dinosaur was featured last year in a promotional short film, giving a speech at the UN General Assembly.
