The Coptic Orthodox Church is the original church of Egypt, founded by the Apostle Mark in the 1st century AD.
Saint Mark is also considered to be the first Coptic Pope.
The Coptic language is the last stage of the original Egyptian language, and is still used in church liturgies to this day.
