The country saw another decline in the active covid-19 cases as the cases fell below the 40,000 mark and declined to 38,293.

India recorded a slight dip in Covid-19 cases after reporting 3,947 cases a day before.

3,805 fresh covid cases were added to the total tally of Covid-19 infections in the country on Friday.

With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases jumped to 4,45,91,112.
