Govt: We understand people on benefits are worried
Victoria Prentis says a decision on whether to raise benefits in line with inflation will be made "as quickly as possible", but that policy cannot be "made up on the hoof".
The work and pensions minister says a decision can only be made after a review is conducted and that there is "no screeching U-turn" to be made.
