Rishi Sunak arrives at Conservative Party Head Quarters after being announced as the next UK prime minister.

He was greeted by party members including the party Chair Sir Jake Berry.

Sunak was the only member to gain the necessary 100 votes from MPs after Penny Mordaunt withdrew from the leadership race and will take office as prime minister on Tuesday.
