Labour: Home Secretary’s language ‘deeply irresponsible’

Shadow Culture Secretary Lucy Powell says that the home secretary’s language in the Commons on Monday was “deeply irresponsible”.

Suella Braverman claimed that there is an “invasion” of England by migrants crossing the Channel.

Ms Powell added: “I fear that some of her language yesterday will now mean that our security services are on very high alert when it comes to keeping migrant centres and migrants in this country safe.” Report by Jonesia.
