Ukraine war: Civilians escape Kherson after Russian strikes on liberated city
A line of trucks, vans and cars stretched a kilometre or more on the outskirts of Kherson on Saturday after days of Russian shelling on the southern Ukrainian city.
Ukraine's air force reported shooting down a Russian strategic bomber, but Moscow officials countered that the plane crashed in a sparsely populated area due to a malfunction post-combat mission.
