Ecstatic Morocco fans celebrate in Piccadilly Circus
There were joyous scenes in London’s Piccadilly Circus on Tuesday evening as Moroccan football fans celebrated their World Cup round of 16 victory over 2010 world champions Spain.
Morocco won 3-0 in a penalty shootout after the game finished goalless after extra time.
It is the first time the North African country have reached the World Cup quarter-finals, and they are the first Arab country to do so.
