The nasal COVID-19 vaccine has been made by Bharat Biotech. A primary two-dose schedule and a heterologous booster dosage for 'iNCOVACC' have been approved.

Strong earthquake tremors were felt in northern India including the Delhi-NCR region, Punjab and Haryana. According to reports, the earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale hit countries including Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The epicenter is believed to be 90 km from Kalafgan in Afghanistan. A day after north India felt tremors of the strong 6.8 magnitude earthquake with the epicentre in Afghanistan, the National Centre for Seismology has recorded 2.7 magnitude earthquake in the national capital on 22nd March. The US FDA has issued advisory against using ‘Artificial Tears’…an eye drop manufactured by an Indian pharmaceutical company. This is the third such incident in the recent times in which Indian pharmaceutical companies have been in the crosshairs of health authorities. Just few months back, a controversy had erupted over the death of 66 children in Gambia after taking cough syrup imported from India. Then, towards the end of December, Uzbekistan had also claimed that 18 of 21 children with acute respiratory diseases died after ingesting Dok-1 Max syrup…a syrup that was manufactured and exported to Uzbekistan.
