Jacob Rees-Mogg says the editing of a photo tweeted by Grant Shapps, which airbrushes out Boris Johnson, was probably done by "some over-enthusiastic but relatively junior person".
The tweet containing the photo of the business secretary and the former Prime Minister meeting Virgin Orbit bosses in 2021 has since been deleted, with the current business secretary saying he was unaware the photo had been edited.

The UK has airdropped food supplies into Gaza for the first time as the Defence Secretary urged Israel to allow more aid into the war-torn territory.
