MV Empress: India's first international cruise vessel sets sail to Sri Lanka from Chennai
India's first international cruise vessel, MV Empress, set sail from Chennai to Sri Lanka on Monday after a flagging off ceremony by Union shipping minister Sarbananda Sonowal. An international cruise tourism terminal, set up at a cost of Rs 17.21 crore at the Chennai Port, was also inaugurated.
