Domain experts brief parliamentary panel on criminal laws; explain govt intent behind amendments

Domain experts including former CBI special director Praveen Sinha and officers of the legal affairs department and Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) on Monday briefed the parliamentary committee on home ministry regarding provisions of the three criminal law Bills, intentions of the government behind bringing the proposed laws and how they seek to reform the criminal justice system.
