Isro set to conduct crucial crew escape test of Gaganyaan inearly October

The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) is set to conduct a test of the crew escape system for its Gaganyaan mission, which aims to send two to three astronauts into orbit for a three-day mission. The test will be the first of four abort missions for the programme. The Indian Navy's marine commando unit, Marcos, will be involved in the recovery operations after the mission lands in the sea.
