Refuting transnational killing allegations, Jaishankar says India open to looking at something 'specific or relevant'
India's External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, has stated that it is not the government's policy to carry out transnational killings. He also mentioned that if Canada has specific information regarding the assassination of Khalistani extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, India is open to reviewing it. Jaishankar highlighted Canada's permissive approach to extremist violence by anti-India separatists, stating that there is a deep connection between organized crime, violence, and extremism in the country. He also mentioned that India has been providing information to Canada regarding this issue, but there has been little action taken by the Canadian authorities.
