Samyukta Kisan Morcha demands withdrawal of FIR against journalists

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha, a farmers' organization, has demanded that the Indian government withdraw an FIR (First Information Report) registered against journalists and owners of news portal Newsclick. The FIR allegedly includes the farmers' movement as a named party, raising concerns that farmers and leaders involved in the movement may be booked under the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act). The farmers' leaders are planning a nationwide movement next month.
