In letter to CP, lawyer says he fears for life for ‘exposing’ MP

Supreme Court lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai, who accused TMC MP Mahua Moitra of accepting bribes to ask questions in parliament, has expressed concerns about his safety. In a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner, he claimed that attempts had been made to coerce him into withdrawing his complaint and that he had received threatening messages and individuals had attempted to enter his residence. Dehadrai also mentioned that he anticipated threats in order to prevent him from testifying before the Ethics Committee and investigating agencies.
