RSS means 'Rashtriya Sarvanas Samiti', says CPI (M) Leader Brinda Karat

IndiaTimes Sunday, 22 October 2023
Brinda Karat, a senior leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), slammed RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent remark that Hinduism is the religion in India that respects all sects and faiths. "Every day, the leaders of the RSS and their family, whose name is Sangh Parivar, abuse people and other religions. They give hate speeches and incite people every day. Mohan Bhagwat should answer, if RSS believes in values and principles, why he and others from the organisation attack people belonging to other religions," Karat said while speaking to ANI.

Rahul Gandhi's 'Shakti' Slip: BJP latches on, Rocky Political Journey Amid Elections for Cong?

Rahul Gandhi's recent statement at the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra's finale in Mumbai sparked controversy. While attempting to criticise BJP's tactics, his mention of "Shakti" in Hindu dharma was perceived differently, leading to BJP using it against Congress and Rahul. Congress defended Gandhi, attributing his words to BJP's power through RSS and 'Manuvaad.' However, the incident highlights the importance of careful language in political discourse, especially during elections, to avoid unintended consequences and misinterpretations. #RahulGandhi #BJPvsCongress #LanguageMatters #HinduDharma #ShaktiRow ~HT.97~PR.282~

Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay of the Calcutta High Court announced his resignation today, accompanied by his declaration of joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Speaking at a press conference held in Kolkata at 2:25 pm, Gangopadhyay emphasised that he sees the BJP as the sole national party capable of challenging the dominance of the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. He clarified his decision by stating his reluctance to align with the Communist Party of India (Marxist) due to his religious beliefs and his aversion to joining the Congress, citing its dynastic nature, which sidelines accomplished leaders like Jairam Ramesh. #JusticeGangopadhyay #CalcuttaHighCourt #Resignation #BJP #JoiningPolitics #PoliticalTransition #JudicialResignation #PoliticalShift #BJPEntry #IndianPolitics #BengalPolitics #LegalNews #JudicialAffairs #BJPPolitics #JudicialResignation #JudicialCareer #PoliticalMove #BJPMembership #LegalTransition #JudicialDeparture ~PR.152~ED.101~
