Controversial Telangana MLA T Raja Singh has had his suspension lifted by the BJP and has been included in the party's first list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. Singh, who has made controversial remarks about Islam, is considered a Hindutva icon in Telangana. His constituency, Goshamahal, is one that the BJP is confident of winning. Singh had previously faced arrest and suspension for making provocative statements and threats.
