Sunday, 22 October 2023 The possibility of an alliance between the Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) for the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh seems unlikely as the SP has started discussing prospective candidates for six more seats. The SP and Congress have been at odds since ex-MP CM Kamal Nath stated that the alliance was only at the national level and not applicable to the assembly polls. Akhilesh Yadav, emphasized the importance of "PDA" (pichhde, Dalit & alpsankhyak) in the context of the LS polls.
According to the police, the incident occurred after Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh held a roadshow in support of his wife and Lok Sabha candidate Dimple Yadav.. DNA
