Refused ticket, MP BJP neta joins BSP
Former Madhya Pradesh health minister Rustam Singh snapped ties with BJP through a two-line resignation letter on Monday after being denied the ticket from Morena, a constituency he represented twice. Asked about Rustam Singh's resignation, state BJP chief V D Sharma told reporters: "He has been our senior leader. BJP has given him big opportunities. Even after this, if a person feels that he can get an opportunity somewhere else, then it's good."
