Nikam, a prominent presence on prime time TV during the trial of Ajmal Kasab as well as during the trial of the accused in the 1993 serial blasts, is expected to be a good fit for BJP’s “tough-on-terrorism” plank.
Home Minister Amit Shah responded to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's criticism, asserting that there's no provision in the BJP's constitution mandating PM Modi to step down at 75. Shah dismissed Kejriwal's notion that he would succeed Modi, reaffirming Modi's leadership continuity.
