The e-auction of mementos and gifts given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi is receiving a positive response, according to Union Minister of State for Culture Meenakshi Lekhi. The auction, which ends on October 31, aims to generate funds for the 'Namami Gange' Programme, the government's initiative for the conservation of the Ganga river. Popular items include a statue of Ram Darbar, a model of the Golden Temple, and a souvenir of Jerusalem. Over 7,000 items have been put up for auction in previous editions.
