Depute nurse, physiotherapist to Arthur Road jail for Wadhawan directs high court, denies medical bail
The Bombay High Court has denied bail on medical grounds to Rakesh Wadhawan, the promoter of HDIL in the PMC Bank case. However, the court has directed JJ Medical hospital to provide necessary medical staff and facilities at Arthur Road Jail for Wadhawan's treatment. The court stated that medication is the only solution offered at present, and hospitalization is not required. Wadhawan's family can provide him with medicines, but the court has instructed the hospital to arrange for physiotherapy and nursing care.
