Worst air of season, Delhi's AQI deeper in 'very poor' range
On Tuesday, the air quality in Delhi deteriorated further, falling into the 'very poor' category for the fourth consecutive day. The Air Quality Index (AQI) for the day registered at 359, compared to 347 the previous day. This marked the lowest average air quality recorded in a single day so far this season. A hazy atmosphere enveloped the city, with visibility decreasing to 800 meters at Palam and 1,200 meters at Safdarjung on Tuesday morning.
