After asserting he'd be CM for full term, Siddaramaiah retracts

After initially stating that he would remain as Karnataka CM for a full term, Siddaramaiah has now said he will abide by the decision of the high command on his tenure. This comes as three other politicians have expressed their willingness to be CM, leading to speculation about a leadership change. Siddaramaiah has called a meeting with ministers to assess the winnability of party candidates in the state's constituencies. The BJP sees this as the beginning of the decline of the Congress government in Karnataka.
