Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power successfully synchronises Unit-1 of its Ghatampur plant with grid
Saturday, 4 November 2023 Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power (NUPPL) has achieved a major milestone in the construction of a coal-based thermal power plant in Ghatampur, Uttar Pradesh. Unit-1 of the project has been successfully synchronized with the grid, marking a step towards commercial operation. The entire 1,980 MW power capacity of the plant has already been tied up with the states of Uttar Pradesh and Assam. NUPPL is also making progress in the development of the linked coal mine in Jharkhand.
The fourth phase of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections is scheduled for May 13, covering 96 seats across nine states and one union territory. Notably, all 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh and 17 in Telangana will be contested. Additionally, voting will occur in 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 11 in Maharashtra, and various other constituencies in different states.
