Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power successfully synchronises Unit-1 of its Ghatampur plant with grid

Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power (NUPPL) has achieved a major milestone in the construction of a coal-based thermal power plant in Ghatampur, Uttar Pradesh. Unit-1 of the project has been successfully synchronized with the grid, marking a step towards commercial operation. The entire 1,980 MW power capacity of the plant has already been tied up with the states of Uttar Pradesh and Assam. NUPPL is also making progress in the development of the linked coal mine in Jharkhand.
