The confusion will be removed: Governor Arif Mohammed reacts to Kerala government's petition in Supreme Court against him
The Kerala government has filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court against Governor Arif Mohammed Khan for not signing bills passed by the Assembly. The Governor responded by saying that going to the Supreme Court to address confusion is a welcome move. The government claims that the Governor's inaction on eight bills threatens the constitution and the welfare of the people. The bills include amendments to university laws, cooperative societies, and the public health sector.
