Tuesday, 7 November 2023 Voting is taking place in the naxal-affected Karigundam area of Chhattisgarh after 23 years. The polling process is being conducted with the security cover provided by the CRPF 150 Battalion and District Force. The Dantewada constituency, where Karigundam is located, was won by the BJP in 2018. This time, the BJP is represented by Chaitram Ata, while the Congress is represented by Chhavindra Karma.
