Uttarakhand tunnel collapse: CM Pushkar Dhami reviews rescue operations
Rescue operations are underway to save 40 people trapped in the Silkyara tunnel on the Uttarkashi-Yamnotri road in Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is closely monitoring the situation and ensuring that food, water, and oxygen are being supplied to those trapped inside. Trucks carrying large-diameter pipes have arrived at the site to aid in the rescue efforts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw have also inquired about the trapped workers. The tunnel, which is still under construction, had collapsed on November 12.
