Monday, 20 November 2023 US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti is urging for deeper conversations between India and the US regarding a regulatory framework for artificial intelligence (AI). Garcetti emphasized the need to proactively address AI to avoid potential catastrophic consequences. While there have been serious discussions on the matter, no official suggestions or proposals have been made. Garcetti highlighted US President Joe Biden's strong views on AI, as evidenced by the recent executive order mandating AI manufacturers to assess vulnerability to cyberattacks.

sanctions lifted in exchange for strong
controls over Iran's nuclear program.
