Arms for Egypt exhibition spark hostage fear at Indira Gandhi international airport
On Monday afternoon, the security apparatus at Delhi airport was put on high alert when a shipment containing a cache of arms and ammunition was discovered in the cargo area. The intercepted shipment included eight rifles, three shells, 100 cartridges of 7.62mm, five magazines, an artillery machine, and an under-barrel grenade launcher stashed in nine boxes. Those hidden boxes were labeled as "auto parts," which raised suspicions that terrorists might have illegally brought them in.
