Tuesday, 21 November 2023 A cardiothoracic surgeon in India successfully carried out a lung transplant after a major road accident disrupted his journey. Dr. Sanjeev Jadhav was on his way to Chennai to save a patient's life when his ambulance met with an accident. His ambulance crashed into two vehicles. Despite the injuries sustained after the accident, Dr Jadhav and his team still carried out the crucial operation and completed the lung transplant, and saved the patient's life.
