Rajasthan logs 9.77 per cent voter turnout till 9.30 am, says Election Commission
Rajasthan recorded 9.77% polling for 199 assembly constituencies till 9.30 am. Voting began at 7 am after days of hectic campaigning by major political parties. However, polling for the Karanpur assembly constituency was adjourned following the death of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot, former CM Vasundhara Raje, former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot, and other prominent candidates are in the fray. The counting of votes is scheduled for December 3.
