SC constantly working to ensure legal processes become easier and simpler for citizens: CJI

Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud assures President Droupadi Murmu that the Supreme Court is constantly working to simplify legal processes and reduce prison overcrowding. The FASTER initiative version 2.0 ensures the immediate transfer of judicial orders of release to jail authorities electronically. The Supreme Court has been addressing cases related to prisoners' rights and overcrowding. Additionally, the Court aims to improve prison conditions through a research project.
