Tripura CM accuses CPI(M) of digging holes to bury BJP leaders alive before 2023 polls

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 13 December 2023
Tripura chief minister Manik Saha accused CPI(M) of digging graves to bury BJP leaders and workers alive before the assembly elections. He claims that the plot was foiled as the BJP won the polls for the second time. The CPI(M) rejected the allegations as baseless, stating that the BJP won due to division of votes among non-BJP parties. Saha also criticised the Congress for joining hands with the Left party. The CPI(M) said it has never believed in violence or terror tactics and attributed the BJP's victory to the division of votes.
